Dassault released details on its newest business jet, the Falcon 6X, during a day-long technical briefing today. The first Falcon 6X is on track to be built by early 2020. Models include FALCON 900, FALCON 2000, FALCON 50, FALCON 7X, FALCON 20F-5BR, FALCON 8X, FALCON 100, FALCON 20-5BR, and FALCON 10.

The Falcon 6X retains much of the form and function of what was to make the Falcon 5X a commercial success.

Dassault announced the approximately $47 million 6X last year after it abandoned work on the somewhat smaller 5X due to ongoing engine-development problems with another manufacturer.
