In theory the Ditto has some great features but the MIDI part of the pedal is really unstable. I own a Hall of Fame, the mini-ditto, Spark, and Polytune mini noir. So, my barely used ditto x4 has stopped working before I really got much of a chance to use it. im noticing very annoying skips or "pops" at the end/beginning of every loop. It's been sitting on my board for a couple of months in my home studio, I used it a couple of times, it worked fine, now all the LED's are green and there is no function at all.

Just recently my x4 has packed it in , the light under loop one is forever stuck on red / "record" And it seems that changing the power supply or leads does nothing . The X2 took the Ditto's simple operation, but made things even easier with the a second footswitch to stop the loop or to apply an effect.
Every time I plug in the Ditto x4 I hold my breath, because those orange lights come on for startup and take several seconds to disappear.
The Pigtronix Infinity is probably worth the price difference. If anyone is reading this thread and thinking about getting a Ditto x4 for its MIDI capabilities, I would strongly recommend finding another pedal though.
