It’s location, right next to the Loop, makes it extremely easy to access. Here’s a run with a mix of green, sights, and history that makes for a great 10k. Grant Park is among the city’s largest and oldest urban parks. Grand Run 5K, 10K and 1 Mile Run/Walk.

Grant Park is also home to the start and finish of the Chicago Marathon.

There are four sections to the run: lovely Grant Park, athe historic Oakland Cemetery, the State Capitol building, and loop around the track in a park that’s home to the Atlanta Track club.
