Our planet, Earth, has one moon. But also if you have no telescope at hand, it is nice to follow the dance of the Jovian moons. Planets in the Solar System can be placed under two categories: terrestrial planets and jovian planets. A planet designated as Jovian is hence a gas giant, composed primarily of hydrogen and helium gas with varying degrees of heavier elements.
