Reigning ALL-USA girls track and field Athlete of the Year Katelyn Tuohy ran the fastest 3.1-mile X-C time ever by U.S. girl, and was 2nd to only 1 out of 1,000-plus boys on the same course.
Earlier today, high school junior Katelyn Tuohy was named the National Girls Cross Country Runner of the Year, an annual award presented by Gatorade. Tuohy, just six years younger than Cain, has already surpassed some of Cain’s high school times. Tuohy’s talent has often been compared to that of Mary Cain, another teen running phenom from New York.
